The public face of Subway is heading to jail under a plea agreement which allegedly will see him serve five years in prison and pay each of his 14 victims $100,000.

Jared Fogle was was charged with receiving and distributing sexually explicit images of minors and traveling across state lines to pay for sex with minors.

Fogle became the public face of Subway, the company's own Ronald MacDonald.  The "Subway Guy" was so fat that he couldn't fit through doorways. He couldn't squeeze into car seats. And he chose college classes by testing classroom seats to see if could maneuver his 425-pound frame into them.

Fogle rose to fame in 1999 after he lost 235 lbs. by eating Subway sandwiches and exercising. He became a mini-empire, starring in more than 300 Subway TV commercials; writing one autobiographical book and considering a second book aimed at children; emerging as a motivational speaker. He ammassed a fortune worth over $20,000,000.

The "Jared Diet" and the  " Eat Fresh" campaign propelled the franchise to new heights and incredible profits positioning Subway as the healthy alternative to other fast food.

Subway began the process of distancing itself from it's former "folk hero" spokesperson after the pervert was charged. He might be missing those large jeans when juxtaposed with his new prison issued orange jumpsuit!

I wonder if Subway is on the menu in jail!
