HIDDEN HOLES

It is not fit for a duck outside today, let a lone a byelection !

High winds, driving rain and crater sized potholes are making for a chalk singing day. It is one of those mornings where you would like to call in sick and lay in bed!

I am in a foul mood after getting drenched helping a lady on Bannerman Road change a tire. Her car, directly ahead of me, struck a crater on the narrow road. A tire popped of the rim.

I imagine that this was not the only person to blow a tire this morning as the heavy rain has created lakes that are camouflaging the deep holes checkering the roads.
