If you sift through the commentary, ignoring the obvious party plants, you quickly get a handle on the crux of the issue facing the Progressive Conservative Party - their leader.
A typical observation lays out what I hear from disgruntled tories and the average Joe about Premier Kathy Dunderdale
"Dwight Ball can win the next election if he's running against Kathy Dunderdale. I was a staunch PC when Danny Williams was premier but I have not and will not vote PC while Dunderdale is the leader of the PC party."
People just do not respect her. The perception is that she is a spent force. One can argue until you are blue in the face that the economy is doing well, the government is making good investments in infrastructure, healthcare and education but the perception is that our current Premier is a dud.
Can all of Ross's horses and soldiers put her premiership back together again?
I don't think so.
