I have become an iPhone user.
My sister-in-law upgraded to a yellow hard candy 5-C over the weekend and gave me her iPhone 4. I am looking forward to integrating my phone with my iCloud and various Macs.
So much for all the dire predictions that Apple had lost its magic. Sales of the new models were nearly double those of the iPhone 5 in the first weekend after its launch a year ago. Apple sold a record-breaking nine million new iPhone® 5s and iPhone 5c models over the weekend. That makes for the companies best iPhone launch to date. Apple shares jumped by 4.5% on the news.
I am looking forward to using the phone to make make my life a little better in terms of organization and productivity. I have been a curmudgeon when it comes to cellular phones. I think I was just being stubborn because I hate seeing people walking around staring at their phones all the time. My old phone just made calls (email), so there wasn't really any reason to fondle it in public.
The iPhone is also a great way to read ebooks as well, with later models sporting a high-resolution screen which makes text legible on a small device.
