When we up in the club
All eyes on us
All eyes on us
All eyes on us

As much as I would like to ignore Brittany Spears and Will I Am, Scream and Shout has become one of a couple of standards that the boys and I sing on long drives down the Burin Peninsula over the summer.

Two others, Toby Keith's - Red Solo Cup and The Arrogant Worms - Rocks & Trees regularly get repeated until Kristine is ready to jump out of the car!

Speaking of jumping out of speeding cars, all eyes are on the Prime Minister as he prepares to shuffle his cabinet in hopes of turning around his sagging fortunes.

The shuffle looks to be significant with Ted Menzies,  Diane Ablonczy, Keith Ashfield and now Vic Toews indicating they will not be running for re-election. Even Environment Minister Peter Kent says he is heading to the backbenches. That is a lot of new openings at the Privy Council table.

Are there enough new faces to stem the tide? Will Harper employee the successful political skills used to parlay his  minority governments into a majority or will he continue down the uncompromising road taken in the era of majority? His choices will signal his future.

Speaking of his future, the Globe & Mail's coverage of the sworn RCMP affidavit related to the investigation over disgraced Conservative Senator Mike Duffy's $90,000 gift revealed some interesting contradictions in the Prime Ministers past comments to media and his answers in Question Period.

The original defense that no one knew about the cheque until months afterwards is crumbling and with it the Prime Minister's tattered credibility.

As the Prime Minister shuffles the deck, he knows that all eyes are on him.
