The international Centre for Law and Democracy has responded in dismay to allegations by Justice Minister Felix "the cat" Collins who said they were  a “two-bit outfit.”

In a prepared press release the  centre stated "We stand by our research, which demonstrates that the Bill 29 substantially weakens the legal framework for access to information in Newfoundland"

In a further damnation of the provincial government, the release stated  “Over the past year, we have conducted projects in Kazakhstan, Myanmar, Somalia and many other countries that are known for being particularly hostile to democratizing forces. However, this is the first time that the integrity and professionalism of our organization have ever been directly attacked by a political leader.”

The leadership in Myanmar and Somalia are less hostile to democracy than the Cat and the Dunderdale administration...what a damming indictment.
