A rare treat for motorists!

Gas prices have dropped heading into a long weekend!

The downward trend  in  oil markets may be robbing the province of revenue but it is putting a few extra dollars in our pockets.

The Public Utilities Board has lowered the price of gas by nearly four cents a litre. Diesel dropped  2.2 cents per litre & furnace oil is down  by 2.05 cents per litre. I only wish the drop had taken place during the heating season, but at the rate the boys are showering these days, the drop will be noticed!

Brent Crude is trading at $92.97 a barrel at the moment, that is nearly $30 less than it was pegged by provincial economists for the upcoming year.  WTI is trading at $79.83
