THE WINDS OF CHANGE:ADOBE CS6 ARRIVES

I wish that I could resist the new.

I barely have have CS3 down pat and Adobe Creative Suite 6 is set to go on-sale today for both OS X and Windows.

Actually, I have done training for CS5 versions of Photoshop and InDesign. I'll not be upgrading anytime in the near future.

CS6 ranges in price depending on which package you want.  A single license for the revised Photoshop will set you back $699, while the full 16-app Master Collection will require $2599. The impending cloud option provides access to all of Adobe's professional tools for a $49.99 monthly fee!

You read it right. Adobe is taking it to the cloud and renting its software!  I love photoshop but I don't love their subscription plans. I like to own my products.

The subscription plans are better value for those who update every year.

It will be interesting to see if the the cloud subscription based version will persuade people to have the subscription instead of pirating it.
