SNOW & HAIL:

I don't know about you, but I was chilled to the bone on my walk early this morning to Virgina Park Elementary School for the Kids East Smart Breakfast Program!

It looked warm outside, I never bothered to check the forecast. I threw on a a thin windbreaker and trotted out into a typical late May day here on the rock. It was chilly, gone were the hot days of last week! Just when you think it is safe to get those studs off and stow the winter clothing away, the seasons decide to switch-up

I have often heard that the weather in Newfoundland is an attraction in itself. A warm and sunny day can turn cold and drizzly fast. Is it any wonder that next to politics, the weather is the most talked about topic of conversation in these parts.

Environment Canada says we can expect some cold weather and snow. Snow! Crumbs! I can hardly frigging believe it. I mean, I can believe it, but accepting it, well that is another matter all together.

Flurries could be heavy leading to some accumulations mixed with everything from thundershowers to hail!

Four seasons in a day...welcome to the rock!

So much for the BBQ tonight, perhaps a nice harvest stew is in order!

Ya gatta love it !
