In closing, Ms.MacDonald was wrong to call me a “lapdog.”

NL's Quisling
Peter Penashue

At the risk of offending the politically correct , Labrador MP, Federal Cabinet Minister  & Harper lapdog, Minister Peter Penashue has become the latest in an embarrassing line of domestic political quislings that have sold out their province to Ottawa interests.

Despite passionate pleas, well argued scenarios and the entire weight of the Premier's office, the Maritime Rescue Sub-Centre in St. John's begin routing distress calls to Halifax today.

Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador is  urging municipalities across the province to fly their Canadian  flags  at half–mast today to protest the closure.  MNL forwarded a resolution addressing the closure at the Atlantic Mayor’s Congress in 2011, which was unanimously passed.  Further action on this issue with the federal minister is ongoing.

I think it would be more fitting to fly the flag upside down. When a ship is in distress and the crew has to abandon, they invert the flag.

It seems appropriate in this case.

You just wait and see. When Peter Penashue is deservedly voted out of office, he will play the Race card.

Write it down and wait and see.

He's blind to the disservice he performs to the people of Labrador and the rest of the province.
