R&R ON THE PADDY DAY LONG WEEKEND

A Monday off, the kids are in school, Kristine working, no need to shave, India Gate for lunch, catch-up on reading and an empty house. Thanks Paddy!

Normally, my day is dictated by the picking-up and dropping off of my boys at three different schools, hockey, Shallaway, Legend Swimming, basketball or some other activity. Actually using the hour allocated for a lunch break as a lunch break is a rarity during the school year.  Getting downtown for Indian is even rarer.

No thoughts about brain tumors, lay-offs, clients that take months to pay bills and the stuff that is completely out of my control today.  This is the first time I have ventured on-line to check my e-mail today. Rest, relaxation and reading with no interruptions.

My wife is just green with envy.

I could use a week of this!
