The Nova Central school district has apologized to the family of that a10-year-old student that was doused in Febreze a few weeks ago and admitted that protocol was not followed in this incident.
The board says it's investigation is completed and the teacher is back at work.
Was this a fuss about nothing, a local settling of scores? Obviously not entirely as the board did apologize and admitted that proper protocol was not followed.
I wonder if the administrative head at the school had to face the same scrutiny as the teacher. A little finesse and face saving might have saved the town, the province, the school and the child a great deal of embarrassment.
It is a shame that it took that media scrutiny, and exposure, to force the hand of the local administration.
