BITS AND BYTES: SATURDAY READS

The drive way is dug out, the kids are playing NHL 2012, Kris is preoccupied with TIcket to Ride on her Ipad2 and I am free to read...and perhaps write. I become adept at Twitter and enjoying it. Where else would I be able to chat with the Premier with out going through a dozen assistants? I'll give her credit, she has embraced social media...it must put her aides right on edge!

One Tweet and the Premier replies, seven calls to the Minister of Education and the Deputy to discuss the construction of our oft-announced school, not a return call! Me thinks it might be time to up the ante on that file again! It just pisses me off that the only and I mean this, the only way to get Darrin Pike or Clyde Jackman to address the issue is to go public. Call we back, say look we need more time, nothing new to report or shucks we have to go back to cabinet for more money to do the asbestos abatement, but at least get back to me.

I was at a party with Clyde over the holidays. The man is a lot of fun. He can belt out the tunes. Seriously, he and some friends from Brookside were some shocking good. I wanted to drag him over to the school and chat about the construction, but it was not the place. These guys deserve a break as well.

Perhaps I will try Twitter. Does Clyde have Twitter? I'll have to check.

Time to stop ranting. What I really need to do is shower and make some supper.

While I am showering and preparing something for supper, let me recommend some of the better/interesting reading that I have done today.
