I have always enjoyed Kevin's cartoons, but I find this one offensive. I'm surprised that you would impetuously jump the gun and post it here. I would expect a link or mention from the "Clyde lied tribe" of Wallace McLean but you are usually more fair in your treatment of the various politicos.
Danny has a lot of foibles we must tolerate or condemn, but this comparison is odious.
I have come to expect better from KT, The Telegram, Peter LeWhit/Pius Lasaga, and Peter Whittle.
I did not draw it, nor did I say I supported the message.
In fact it is over the top but that does not mean that I am not willing to reproduce a controversial cartoon from Newfoundlands largest paper and see how others feel about it.
One does not have to be a Danny hater or lover to throw it up for discussion or viewing.
I did notice that it is the first cartoon in weeks from Tobin does not have Danny wearing a bow tie.
Ehhh, I'm just bored by it. It was an obvious shot, given the number of people who have made similar comments. I would hope for something clever with such a set-up.
I don't think it's insulting to the premier...I think it's just boring, predictable and not at all clever. That's what's insulting to me.

It's offensive to people with mullets, I suppose.
I am surprised more of the Danny's Fanny crowd haven't rushed Peter's house or threatened to expell him from the club.
It's one of those things that isn't really funny because it is so over the top.
This is in very poor taste Peter. You are buying into it by publishing it!
